A Century Old Building

The reason the Deep Cove Corner Store is so iconic in the area is its longevity. The building that would become The Big Apple Grocery Store, then Hart's, Mollard's, and finally Panorama Market, was first built as a family home at the turn of the century.

Since that time, it has stood at the epicenter of what has became Deep Cove.

Canada has so little heritage, because everything keeps getting torn down and built new, which is not the right way to go... all these houses that get ripped down left, right, and centre because they’re not modern anymore. It’s wrong. It’s wrong.
